helpbenny.lol is a commercial pixel-art experiment. Benny is a drawing, not a person. Purchases unlock a shared digital experience and a leaderboard entry — they are not donations, they are not charity, and no money reaches a real person in need. If you want to help someone who is actually homeless, please give to a registered charity instead.

So what is this, exactly?

One drawing of one made-up character, shared by everyone who visits. Every purchase adds to a single global total, and when that total crosses a threshold, Benny's scene visibly upgrades — for every visitor at once, not just for you. It is a collective progress bar with a story attached.

What do I actually get?

Your money moves the shared total, and your nickname can appear on the public leaderboard. That is the whole product. There is no file to download, no account, no token, no ownership of the artwork and no financial return of any kind.

Where does the money go?

To us, the operator, as revenue from a commercial product — after Stripe's fees and the tax we owe on it. None of it is passed on to a homeless person, a charity or any third party, because there isn't one. Our full identification details are in the Terms.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. Email us within 14 days and we will refund it, no reason needed. Your statutory rights are set out in the Refunds & Withdrawal policy.

Why did the total go down?

The counter shows money actually received and kept, so refunds and chargebacks are subtracted. If the total drops back below a threshold, that upgrade re-locks. Benny can move backwards.

What happens when it reaches $1M?

Benny reaches the last stage, THE INTERNET DID IT, and the story is finished. The site is an art project rather than a service — it will not run forever, and a purchase does not buy a permanent display.
